Authentic, intuitive, collaborative, compassionate, humorous and direct are words clients use to describe Kelly. As a Marriage and Family Therapist and Registered Play therapist she has cared for clients across the life span from age 2 to 90 and continues to be amazed at the resiliency of the human spirit.
Using modalities such as art therapy, trauma informed somatic interventions, Havening techniques, narrative therapy, IFS and play therapy she guides clients to explore their deeper lives and tap into their own inner wisdom.
She has speciality in working with grief and loss, attachment, life transitions, post divorce care, post traumatic stress and complex trauma and those connected to adoption and foster care. She also has extensive experience in providing therapy for educators and healthcare workers, including other mental health professionals. She also provides caregiver support for those who have children who have experienced trauma.
She has lived experience with out of order loss, multiethnic families, blended families, adoption and working in educational systems.
She also provides educational consulting for educators, children and families that are connected to IEP and 504 services. She is also available to provide training on attachment, grief and loss, topics related to adoption and child development.
Kelly is a Minnesota Board Approved MFT Supervisor and provides reflective and case consultation supervision.
