Bailey Stolz
MFT Practicum Provider
Bailey can be described as a warm, curious, and empathetic presence to clients. Through a non-judgmental and humanistic lens, she provides a space that allows room for difficult emotions, vulnerability, honesty, and laughter. With an academic background in systemic therapy, she welcomes individuals, couples, and families from all walks of life into the room.
She sees each person as part of a larger system, and takes the approach that we all affect each other in ways that are more significant than we may be aware of. Using a combination of techniques from Narrative Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and mindfulness-based practices, Bailey is passionate about helping her clients find a path towards healing, growth, and peace.
Whether you are considering therapy for the first time in your life or you’ve received care from therapists in the past, Bailey offers a new perspective. She has experience working with body image, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and trauma. Her other clinical interests include sexual concerns, sexuality and gender identity, and relational issues.
Bailey understands that starting therapy can feel intimidating – she allows you to set the pace and will support you each step of the way.
Outside of her work in therapy, Bailey enjoys trying new recipes in the kitchen, spending time with animals (especially dogs!), connecting with nature, and escaping into a fantasy book.
Starting therapy can be the first step towards change. Bailey offers a free 20 minute virtual consultation to make sure she’s a good fit for your needs.
